The Townsville office premises houses Head Office (Storm Financial Limited) and the Townsville regional office,
Storm Financial (One) Pty Ltd.

While some may see it as unusual to keep the head office in Townsville, it is where the company had its beginnings back in the early 70’s. Townsville is a thriving centre that Storm is proud to be a part of. It was a deliberate choice when the company expanded to keep head office in the north and continue to contribute to the local economy by employing or contracting locals and spending locally as much as possible.

The Storm building is located in the well-known ‘cutting’ area of the CBD. The firm moved to a newly custom built office premises in the cutting area in February of 1997 after 25 years in the MLC building.  As a result of the growth of the company, it’s a case of deja vu in early 2008 with the move into new, larger premises on the same site.

In the day to day running of the Townsville regional office there’s quite a strong connection with the Sydney office, with a number of one-time Townsville staff now based in both the Sydney and Victorian offices though returning regularly to work in the Townsville office and visit clients – a measure of the strength and longevity of the relationships Storm forges with clients.
