Following in the footsteps of its predecessors, Storm’s Sydney Office is beautifully appointed with a unique combination of furnishings, colours and decorative features. But unlike any other Storm premises, from the top floor of the former Novell building in Miller Street the office boasts 360-degree breathtaking views of Sydney through the floor-to-ceiling picture windows.
Storm’s bright green logo is emblazoned across the top of the building and as such is now an established feature on the North Sydney skyline.
The decorative elements of the Sydney office also reflect the multi-Cultural aspect of the city, the staff and clients – Bineta has been in the Sydney team since 2005 and is originally from West Africa, and Thi, who also joined Storm in 2005, is originally
from Vietnam.
After 19 years in the Townsville office as Senior Adviser, and with a passion for spreading the word, in July 2005 Bernardine (with her husband and two sons) moved to Sydney to help expand Storm into New South Wales.
The Sydney office was built on the foundation of established staff from Head Office in Townsville. Initially Dawn and Sarah Collett relocated across the border, followed by Bernardine. All three just loved the big move and Sydney life. They then invited another Townsville staffer, Nick Maloney to join them. It was only intended to be for 12 months but Nick loved the place, fell for a Sydney girl and quickly turned into a permanent Sydneysider.
No matter where they hail from, one thing’s for certain – they’re well-qualified with a track record of getting the best outcomes for each client, and in usual Storm style, the Sydney team is full of heart, very sociable and has a wonderful reputation for hospitality – from plying clients with ‘the best’ cappuccinos and delicious eats when they visit the office, through to inviting clients to join in on their Melbourne Cup luncheons and State of Origin nights!
