Brian Royes
Brian began in the finance industry in 1975 while completing a Bachelor of Arts degree at Central Queensland University. He has over 30 years experience in the financial services and insurance industries in the Central Queensland Region and was one of MLC's most successful advisers before joining Storm.
Over time Brian has been involved in charity groups such as the Make a Wish Foundation and sports such as rugby union, horseracing and golf.
Karen McTier
Karen has completed her accounting degree, but decided to switch to financial planning in 1998. While her accounting degree was a good start, in order to become a qualified financial adviser she was required to complete a Diploma of Financial Planning, followed by Certified Financial Planner qualifications. Karen has been a practicing Certified Financial Planner since April 2002. She was the managing senior adviser for a large financial planning firm in Rockhampton prior to joining Storm.
Ashley Dowie
Ash has been with the Storm Financial office in Rockhampton since its inception in 2004, settling once again in the area after working and travelling in Europe. Currently completing his Masters in Applied Finance, Ash has lived and studied in Rockhampton from an early age, and has developed strong relationships in both the business and rural sectors of the region. As an Employee Representative, he takes a very personal approach in his commitment to assist all clients achieve financial freedom.
Stephanie Olive
Steph has been in the financial planning profession for over 7 years working initially as a Paraplanner and then Financial Planner. During this time she has developed a depth of knowledge and experience across the financial planning industry. Steph comes from a rural background where honesty, reliability, understanding, accountability, teamwork and best client practices are imperative.
