Wally Fullerton-Smith

Wally Fullerton-Smith joined Storm in 2006 as one of our advisers on Queensland’s Gold Coast.

He began working in the Financial Planning industry part-time during his football career with the Redcliffe Dolphins from 1983 – 1986 and then in Sydney from 1987 – 1992. After finishing his 1st grade rugby league career with St George (Dragons) and travelling overseas to live in the beautiful South of France, Wally and his wife Kim settled on the Gold Coast in 1994.

Wally's career in Rugby League got him to the highest levels of the sport, representing Queensland in State of Origin and also representing Australia. Being successful in a team sport, Wally has developed high levels of communication and understanding and knows the drive and desire needed to assist people in fulfilling their own personal dreams.

Opening his own financial planning business in Southport during mid 1996, he expanded with an office in Tweed Heads on NSW coast in 2003. Wally knows how important good financial planning is to his clients' goals and has always worked hard to meet their expectations.
Since 1994, Wally and Kim have become part of a close community on the Gold Coast, sponsoring major race days, local football teams and school functions (having two beautiful daughters attending school).

In 2006 Wally and his team of wife Kim and Office Manager, Fiona, joined Storm.
“I am the happiest I have ever been with the excitement of being part of the Storm Financial Team, and bringing it to the beautiful Gold Coast just has me jumping out of my skin – the adrenalin is pumping!" says Wally.
