In December 2006 a Storm hit Victoria with the acquisition of Victorian Families Retirement and Investment Group Pty Ltd from Norman Reynolds, and with it came a team of dedicated individuals who perfectly fit into the Storm culture.

Norman helped transition the group over the first year and worked with us to build the team to ensure the highest level of customer service would be delivered.

Your Geelong team is keen to continue to provide you with the support for your financial needs that Storm is renowned for, and consists of the following staff. 

Dean Thompson has worked in the financial planning industry since 1995 and joined the Storm team in 2005.  He holds a Diploma of Financial Planning and recently relocated to Geelong after spending two years at Townsville Head office.  He has been actively involved in charity groups such as Camp Quality, as well as soccer, tennis and surf life saving.

Janelle Coles holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Deakin University with majors in Accounting and Financial Planning and worked alongside Norman as an adviser assistant at Victorian Families for some time.

Emily Alesios is our Administration Assistant. Emily is in the final stages of completing her Bachelor of Commerce degree at Deakin University majoring in Accounting and Financial Planning.

Stephen Price joined Storm in 2005 and returned to his home town of Geelong after stints at Townsville Head office and Brisbane City office. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Deakin University and is currently studying for a Masters in Applied Finance.

The team prides itself on their personal and dedicated service and the many people they have helped on the road to financial independence. Aside from their professional credentials, they are an active group who always feature in Storm news.  Of particular note is the recent purchase of the historic Sladen House in Pakington Street, and the pending relocation of the team from Fenwick Street.  It is anticipated that renovations will be completed in the first few months of 2008.
